Low Carb Keto French Toast Recipe
KETO French toast is a delicious way to start your day on a healthy note! My low carb French toast comes together in just 10 minutes and just 9 ingredients.
Ingredients
Bread:
- 1 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 3 tbsp Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
- 1 tsp Wholesome Yum Psyllium Husk Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1 large Egg
French Toast Mixture:
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Erythritol Blend (divided into 1 tsp and 1/2 tsp; or more to taste)
- 1 tbsp Butter
Topping (optional):
- Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Erythritol Blend
- Wholesome Yum Keto Maple Syrup
Instructions

While the bread cools, whisk together the egg, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Erythritol Blend in a small bowl.

Dip the cooled bread in the egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides.

In a frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the bread and cook 1-1.5 minutes, until golden brown. Flip and cook for 1-1.5 minutes again, until browned on the other side.

Sprinkle French toast with 1/2 teaspoon Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Erythritol Blend (or to taste). Top with keto maple syrup if desired.
