Fathead Keto Deep Dish Pizza Recipe
The deep dish version of the iconic keto friendly fathead pizza! This keto deep dish pizza recipe has just 6g net carbs per slice and takes 30 minutes.
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 3 tbsp Cream cheese (cut into cubes)
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 1 1/3 cups Wholesome Yum Almond Flour
- 4 whole Mozzarella cheese sticks (cut in half)
- 1/2 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 link Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 10 slices Pepperoni
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C). Spray an 8-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine shredded mozzarella and cubed cream cheese. Microwave for 90 seconds, stirring halfway through. Stir again at the end until well incorporated.
Stir in the beaten eggs and Wholesome Yum Almond Flour. Knead with your hands until a dough forms. If the dough becomes hard before fully mixed, you can microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften it.
In the springform pan, press the dough with your hands to spread it over the pan. Press the sides up about 1/2-inch to 1-inch, enough to cover and fold over your string cheese.
Add 7 of the mozzarella cheese halves along the edge of the dough and fold over to cover, pressing down the edges.
Using a fork or toothpick, poke holes along the bottom of the crust to prevent bubbling.
Bake crust for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and poke holes in any spots where bubbles form. Return to oven and bake for 3-7 more minutes, until golden brown.
Add the marinara, shredded mozzarella cheese, sausage, and pepperoni to the crust and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes, until cheese has melted.
Serving size: 1 slice of pizza, or 1/6 entire recipe
