Net carbs only include the carbohydrates your body can ready use for energy. This reading on your nutrition label excludes the carbohydrates your body can’t fully digest, including sugar alcohols, fiber, and allulose.
To calculate net carbs, simply take total carbohydrates per serving and subtract fiber, sugar alcohols and allulose.
For example, a teaspoon of Besti erythritol contains 4 total grams of carbohydrates. After subtracting 4 grams of sugar alcohols, the net carb count is 0 grams.
Besti products have a three-year shelf life. Store in a cool, dry location, or even your refrigerator.

Wholesome Yum Flours
Ever tried a gluten-free recipe that turned out gritty, grainy, or just plain ruined? In many cases, poor quality flour may be the culprit.

Wholesome Yum almond flour comes from California almonds. Wholesome Yum coconut flour comes from organic coconuts grown in the Philippines.
To make almond flour, we blanch almonds in boiling water to remove the skins. Then, we grind and sift them into a super fine flour.
To make coconut flour, we scrape the meat from inside whole coconuts, grate it, and strain to separate the solids from the coconut milk. Then, we dry out the solids in the oven at a low temperature, and finally grind and sift them into a super fine coconut flour.
Our flours contain nothing extra. Wholesome Yum almond flour contains 100% almonds, and our coconut flour contains 100% coconut.
Almond flour and coconut flour are not interchangeable. Since coconut flour absorbs much more moisture, substituting it for almond flour can lead to dry, crumbly results. We recommend using recipes designed for each of these flours rather than substituting them.

For almond flour: You can substitute almond flour for white flour in a 1:1 ratio, for any recipe. However, keep in mind that white flour contains different properties than other flours and you may need to add other ingredients to achieve a similar end result.
For coconut flour: Substitute up to 1/3 coconut flour for every cup of wheat flour. Since it is so absorbent, you may need to add more liquid, sweeteners, or other elements to your recipe to create similar end results. We recommend using recipes designed with coconut flour in mind rather than substituting it.
Thanks to its higher fat content, almond flour is ideal for recipes that need moist, cakey textures.
Use coconut flour to make nut-free, gluten-free recipes with even more fiber! Most people with nut allergies can still enjoy coconut flour.
Each serving of our flours contains 2 net carbs. The serving size is standardized by the FDA for all nut flour products – 2 tablespoons.
All Wholesome Yum Foods flours are gluten-free. Our almond flour is non-GMO, and our coconut flour is USDA certified organic and non-GMO.

Besti Sweeteners
All Besti sweeteners have zero calories, zero net carbs, and zero glycemic index. Here are some notable differences:

Erythritol is part of the family of sugar alcohols, which are found in nature, but it is unique compared to others such as sorbitol or maltitol. Erythritol is the only one that has a glycemic index of zero and is easier to digest.
Monk fruit, also known as luo han guo, is a small Asian melon that has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries. Monk fruit extract is derived by crushing the fruit, then drying the juice into a concentrated powder that has no calories, carbs or sugar.
Monk fruit extract is extremely sweet, which comes from an antioxidant in the fruit called Mogroside V. It’s very concentrated (between 150 and 400 times as sweet as sugar!), so we combine it with less potent sweeteners to make a 1:1 sugar replacement.

Route Protect costs just $0.98 for any Wholesome Yum Foods order that is less than $100. For orders over $100, the cost of Route Protect is 1.5% of your order subtotal.
How Does Route Work?
If your Route protected order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route’s expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days from filing.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?
Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.
Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Route Shipping Protection.

- Claims can be filed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when the order was marked delivered

Stuck In Transit (Lost)
- For US orders, claims can be filed no earlier than 7 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date
- For Canadian orders, claims can be filed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date
Damaged
- Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
