I just finished a ketogenic diet and thought I would try some reduced-sugar baking. I used the erythritol in a brownie recipe and the flavor was very good. I did notice a cooling sensation in my mouth and I understand that’s not uncommon for some applications. I decided to renamed the recipe “arctic brownies” which was pretty popular with the neighbors (I give away most of what I bake). I fell overall happy with the purchase I’ve decided to try some other items next, like the Monk fruit sweetener. My goal is to try all the different sweeteners in various recipes.

My husband has been recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, so the change in diet has been bit of a challenge. We've not been big sweets-eaters in the past, but we did like a good cake or pie now and then. I have tried various brands of sugar substitutes and have found the difference in taste very pronounced. So, I was surprised at how good my baked items taste with the Besti Erythritol Sweetener. I was also impressed with the "powdered sugar" variety. I used it as a dusting on a low-carb cake rather than icing and it did add a nice touch of sweetness. It will be awhile before we quit missing the real sugar taste, but Besti is making that transition easier.

I ordered Besti to compare erythritol to monk fruit. It compares well. Both are unfortunately ridiculously expensive when compared with cane or beet sugar.

We’ve tried other brands but this one has the best taste. It sweet s my coffee perfectly. We also use it a lot in baking. It’s a great sugar substitute that melts well.

Call me skeptical, but when I want something sweet, I want something sweet! Granulated Besti with Erythritol functions and taste just like regular sugar. I use it in my hot tea in the morning and it is a go to when I bake. Having picky eaters at home, trying to sneak anything in to a recipe is not met well. They don't even know I am using Besti! They actually like everything I bake and have no idea I am using a low glycemic alternative! Even though the description indicates it is not as sweet as regular sugar, we don't miss this sweetness when substituting. Now when we use regular sugar it is too sweet! Would highly recommend this product! Happy Baking!

Besti sweetener is the best sweetener i have tried so for. It tastes just like regular sugar . Make you not miss sugar. I highly recommended this to anyone that need sugar replacement products.

Love all Wholesome Yum, Besti products. I have sensitivity with certain sweeteners. I don’t tend to have any issues with Erythritol or Allulose. So glad you have both to be able to purchase.

I have tried other sweeteners in the past, but I'll have to say that Besti's Erythritol is one of my favorite sweeteners that I have tired so far. I will treat myself a couple of times a month by baking something sweet, such as muffins, cheesecake, or a cobbler. This sweetener leaves no aftertaste what so ever. I will be purchasing it again soon.

Starting using this to replace sugar and it is the best replacement ! No aftertaste, used it for baking and turned out perfect . Buying again . Just ordered and ordered one for my friend that has a diabetic husband .
