What Is Allulose?
Allulose is a natural rare sugar that we can’t metabolize [*], which means it tastes and acts like sugar without spiking our blood sugar. Naturally occurring in fruit, maple syrup, raisins, and other plants, it’s 70% as sweet as table sugar.
The name “allulose” sounds like glucose, fructose, lactose, sucrose, and other simple sugar names, because it’s in the same family. But unlike these sugars, we can’t process allulose, which means it doesn’t affect insulin levels and has zero calories and zero net carbs.
In fact, the FDA has determined that allulose sugar should not be listed as sugar on nutrition labels, because the body does not treat it as sugar.

Not as sweet as the other syrups but still very good flavor!
This is great for lemonade in the summer or hot chocolate in the colder weather we have coming up. I use it also when I have parties with a mixed drink. It’s so handy to have in the pantry, and not have to stop and make a simple syrup.
I also like it iced tea. Being from the south ( IYKYK), we have a very hard time drinking unsweetened tea. It’s just not… normal.
Also good if you’re making candied nuts for appetizers or salads, popcorn balls for Halloween or Christmas, or anything like that. So diverse for so many types of desserts! Highly recommend.
It is an excellent substitute for corn syrup. I plan on buying it again when it runs out.
The liquid allulose is DELICIOUS! I am using it in my baking for recipes that call for liquid stevia. While stevia leaves a strange aftertaste, this product is delicious, tastes like sugar and leaves no weird aftertaste. Highly recommend.
