Wholesome Yum Super Fine Blanched almond flour has the finest grind for moist baked goods that have a delicate crumb, a fluffy texture, and no grainy or gritty feel.

A coarse almond flour that hasn’t been ground finely enough – or worse, one with skins – can ruin your desserts or breads. Try ours and see the fine texture for yourself!

Learning how to bake with almond flour is easy, since it’s roughly a 1:1 replacement for regular flour in most recipes. However, sometimes the recipe needs modifications. Almond flour does not have the starch content or gluten that wheat flour has, so it doesn’t create stretchy doughs or chewy texture on its own. There are other ingredients that can be added to almond flour recipes to achieve an end result similar to what you’d get with regular flour.

Simply One Ingredient: Premium California Almonds

We blanch the nuts (always from the USA!) in boiling water to remove the skins, then grind and sift them into a super fine powder.

With just one ingredient, how we make our flour is just as important as what goes in it. The best almond flour – like our Wholesome Yum brand – will have super fine ground almonds with a uniform consistency, to get a perfect texture in baking.

And unlike almond meal (unblanched almond flour), which is ground with the skins intact, our flour only uses blanched almonds with skins removed. It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference in baked goods.

    I wish this product, in fact all Besti products, were available in a larger sizes and able to be purchased in grocery stores.
